John Deere 5105 shutdown

John Deere 5105 shutdown Problems

I have a John deere 5105. Sometimes it runs great and all of a sudden it runs like it’s running out of fuel. I thought there might be something at the bottom of the tank, but it’s clean, all filters are fine, which could be a problem.

I open the line at the filters – good flow so I close it. I try to restart – the same problem, I open it again. This time I let it run – it slows to a drip after twenty seconds! Then I go to explore and found the line is blocked on the tee.Clean filter / strainer (# 13) in the sedimentation tank on the transfer pump ??? I know guys who don’t know they’re there and they run them fully plugged in. They will starve the tractor on fuel.

Also, the transfer pump (22) can break. Does it work better with a full tank and then worse when the fuel level drops? If that’s the case, then the transfer pump could very well be wrong. The transfer pump is bolted to the injection pump, but its maintenance is independent. It is simply screwed in and does not affect the removal of the injection pump for maintenance. Sometimes it can also be fixed. For now I will ignore it.

Look at other things and contact us or send me an email.
